Pardee, Caroline J. Varsity Sports Endowed Scholarship for Women
The Caroline J. Pardee Varsity Sports Endowed Scholarship for Women was established in 1998 by Caroline J. Pardee, class of ’32, to recognize the leadership provided by outstanding women participating in sports at The University of Akron. Pardee, a longtime supporter and advocate of the women’s athletics program, will annually fund four scholarships considering GPA, leadership, and financial need. Prior to the fall semester each year, one scholarship will be designated to each of three sports: women’s basketball, volleyball, and softball, with a fourth being awarded, using the same criteria, to an outstanding woman in one of the other varsity sports.
