Sengupta, Jeet Memorial Book Award

The Jeet Sengupta Memorial Book Award was established in 2019 by Sukanya Kemp, a professor in The University of Akron Department of Applied General and Technical Studies.  The award has been established in memory of Mrs. Kemp’s grandfather, Jeet Sengupta, and will assist students enrolled in The College of Applied Science and Technology (CAST) with the cost of textbooks.

Candidates must be enrolled in The College of Applied Science and Technology and demonstrate financial need (e.g., be a Pell Grant recipient or be Pell Grant eligible).  The College of Applied Science and Technology Scholarship Committee will make the award selections.

If at any time the College of Applied Science and Technology is unable to make selection, the Office of Student Financial Aid will manage the selection process.
