Banks, Kenneth E. and June Blackburn, Phi Sigma Kappa Scholarship
Established in 1991, The Kenneth E. and June Blackburn Banks, Phi Sigma Kappa Scholarship is designed to support and to challenge members of The University of Akron’s chapter of Phi Sigma Kappa. As an active and concerned member of the fraternity, Kenneth Banks has made this scholarship support for undergraduates available to Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity members based on academic achievement and financial need. Recipients will be selected by the University Scholarship Committee on the basis of established criteria for scholarship and need. The annual award is to be used to meet the full expense of tuition, books, and fees for each recipient. The number of recipients will be determined by the amount available for award each year. Renewed support is possible if the recipient continues to meet the established award criteria.
